Free Alarm Installations We have in place a scheme that is directed toward the home, shop premises and the smaller business. The scheme, which consists of a limited number of devices, allows us to carry out the installation free of charge. The system is connected via an alarm-receiving centre (ARC) for key-holder or police response. The police-calling system provides the ARC with separate and distinctive signals They are: - 1. Intruder. Alerting the ARC to the fact that the system has been activated, when armed. 2. Personal attack button. Alerting the ARC to the fact that the user may be under threat. 3. Hostage/duress. Alerting the ARC to the fact that the user has switched of the alarm and deliberately entered a code which they know will summon help 4. Fire. Alerting the ARC that a smoke detector has activated and that the fire service may be needed. 5. Casualty/Emergency. Alerting the ARC to the fact that the occupier might need an ambulance, a doctor or another branch of the emergency services. There is a monthly charge of £25 for the signal monitoring and the maintenance cover. |
